She is happy to work with you to create a musical experience that will benefit you. She can work with you either online and in-person whatever suits you.

About Me

Rachael Inwood: Community Musician

I believe that everybody is creative.

I believe that everybody has a musical gift that can be expressed regardless of any barrier that may stop them.

I enjoy finding ways of unlocking people’s potential, finding ways of overcoming any obstacles to be able to take part in any activities. As a musician, I love the way that music has the power to reach people and help to open up people who appear to be locked in their own world.

I have been working with adults with learning disabilities for over a decade, and have been involved in different music and performing art projects with them.

As a piano teacher, I am a member of The Curious Piano Teachers community. This group offers regular training from leading experts in piano teaching and music education.

I have been working with adults with learning disabilities for over a decade, and have been involved in different music and performing art projects with them.

Over recent years I have combined these two passions of mine and have been providing musical opportunities for adults with learning disabilities.

Based in Milton Keynes, I have been playing music for over 25 years, both the piano and the flute. I also play the alto flute and alto sax and play a little guitar. I have been teaching music for eight years. I also regularly play in various types of bands, and also write and arrange music. A sample of my music can be found here.

I am also a Bronze and Silver Arts Award Adviser.

When I am not involved in making anything music related, I am like to go out for walks, enjoy good food with friends and to spend time with my nephew.

I am a member of the Musician Union, I have an enhanced DBS check and have public liability insurance.
