What a year 2020 has been!

What a year 2020 has been. I've been pretty quiet on here, as I've been so busy trying to rebuild my business to work in the world of Covid. It has been a challenging year for everyone. And while there have been many struggles, I'm thankfully for the opportunity to learn new ways of working and diversifying the work that I provide.

So here are a few highlights. I'm now comfortable with teaching online. I've had to adjust the way that I teach, but I think I have learnt so much about how I teach, and the use of videos can benefit learning in between lessons. I also managed to host a couple of online concerts with my students. If you are interested in having online lessons with me, please get in touch.

I have an online musicianship course called Journey Into Music. This course is a short series of videos that you do with your child, that teaches through song musical concepts such as rhythms and pitch. I will be launching the 2nd part to the course in early 2021. If you want more information on the course, please click here.

I've done my first podcast interview, for a podcast called Divisibility. I was chatting about the benefits of music and how it is such an inclusive activity. I also talk about what I have learnt about delivering music workshops in the middle of a pandemic. Once the podcast is live, I will be sharing links to it.

I have also released my first three singles this year. Please check them out here. I have continued to write more music throughout the year, and will hopefully be releasing more next year.

Next year I'm looking forward to continuing to teach flute and piano both online and in person. I'm looking forward to delivering some new workshops with Whats The Drama and expanding the range of online courses.
